Emmy: Seven Months Old

We've reached (more than) 7 months! 

Emmy is sitting up like a champ (finally!) and eating lots of baby food. She loves her fruits and veggies although she still seems to second guess the new flavors. If she doesn't care for it, she gags and spits it out. Such a drama queen! She's still sleeping great at night and seems to love her new, unshared room.

This past month Emmy got to experience a new house, a new room and lots of Nashville snow. It's been tons of fun. Here are some of the snow pictures we captured. 

I just love seeing her with that big brother. I could just explode with love!

Emmy: Six Months Old

It is so hard to believe Emmy is already more than 6 months old! It is all going by way too fast with baby number two. 

At her latest check-up, she weighed 14 pounds, 10 ounces. She is healthy and the happiest baby. The teachers at her PDO said they wish all little ones were like her. Makes a mommy proud!

This month Emmy started eating her baby foods. So far she enjoys carrots and sweet potatoes, but seems to hate green beans. She's a bit dramatic. If she doesn't like it it, she makes herself choke and spits it out.

Emmy: Five Months Old

Emmy is 5 (and 1/2) months old! She's happy, giggling like crazy and is stinking adorable.

I love that last picture because she has been doing the "superman" move since she was itty bitty. That girl has got to have the best baby abs ever. Here's the fun stuff she's been up to:

• She celebrated her first Christmas! 
• She is now in PDO two days a week and is doing wonderfully. She seems to be the happiest baby there and the teachers love her.
• She HATES rice cereal. We tried it twice (once with formula, once with breast milk) and she gags if it comes near her mouth. Sooooooo dramatic! We'll be trying her first baby foods in the next couple weeks so we'll see how she does. (I'm a tad worried.)
• She had her first Skype visit with the Behms and LOVED seeing Jack. She smiled like crazy every time she saw him. Adorbs.

Emmy: Four Months Old

We're one week away from Emmy being 5 months, but I'm just now getting around to her four month update. Yep, these photos were taken yesterday. But technically she's still only four months so roll with me, OK?

Here's what Emmy's been up to lately (leading up to 4 months):

• She LOVES being on her belly. She rolls over like a champ, but pretty much refuses to get off her tummy. 
• She's getting more chatty and giggly these days which we love.
• She is still solely on breast milk.
• She's sleeping through the night and actually sleeps in pretty late most mornings. (Yay!)
• She celebrated her first Thanksgiving.
• She attended her first concert...Merry Music City Christmas at Cross Point.
