Family Photo Wall

It's been almost two years, but I FINALLY have some decor up on our master bedroom wall. I decided to make a collage of family photos to fill up this empty space. I love the way it turned out and it was super simple!

The frames came from my parents for Christmas plus a couple I already had around the house. I used wax paper and a sharpie to figure out my layout before nailing anything to the wall. It made the process so easy! No doubting if you'll like how it looks once everything is up on the wall. Love it!

Here's how I went about it and how you can do it too:

1. Lay out your pictures on the floor (or bed) and decide on your layout.
2. Cover the photos with wax paper (or any other transparent paper) and trace the frames with a sharpie.  (Also mark the locations of the hangers.)
3. Tape your guide to the wall and decide you position.
4. Start hammering in those nails and hanging your frames! If the frame requires two nails, I recommend checking that your marks are level before putting in the nails.
5. Once all your frames are up, pull down your wax paper guide.
6. Admire your new, beautiful wall!
I love how this collage helps distract from the huge return air vent. Now that it's not the only thing there, it's much less annoying.

Like I said, easy-peasy!

Until next time...
