Wild E. Coyote & One Big Roll

We had Fisher's 2 month check-up today so I just had to give the official update on my growing boy. 

• He weighed in at 11 pounds & 12 ounces
• He is 23 1/4 inches long
• He is currently in the 50th percentile for his age

I love getting the size update on our little guy, but this was definitely a bittersweet doctor's appointment since it was also time for his first round of shots. He did better than I expected although there were some tears with the three shots. Afterwards, his sweet legs were covered with seemingly giant band-aids decorated with Wild E. Coyote. 

Wow, doesn't Fisher look extremely upset? Yeah, he obviously recovered quickly. (Too bad daddy didn't.)

The absolute BEST part of the appointment was when the three of us were in the patient room waiting on the doctor. We had Fisher laying on the exam table and he was checking himself out in the mirror when he rolled over! I'm talking, completely rolled over from his back to his belly! He has done it twice before while laying on his play mat, but he hasn't ever been able to pull his arm out from underneath himself. This time he got that arm out! It was amazing to watch. Talk about some pumped parents!

Man, I just can't wait to see what is to come. I just know this boy is dying to get moving and we'll be in BIG trouble when he does.
