"That's so Wrong" Wednesday Vol. 15

Every so often, I pull up to my computer, open up a Google search and as I hit enter, I cross my fingers and hold my breath that there is someone out there with enough time to dedicate hours upon hours of research to my random topic search. Today I had success.

This morning I woke up with a dream. A dream to find a handful of images of awful cake designs. (Well, maybe just an idea, but "a dream" sounds much more passionate.) Just moments into my search what did I find? A whole website dedicated to my random topic search. Enter, cakewrecks.blogspot.com

Here are just a few of the images that grabbed my attention, but I highly recommend that you cruise by this blog and enjoy the beautiful disasters. You'll be sure to waste hours of your day.

These are from their "What is This?" section:

These are from their Mother's Day section:

And here's one of my personal favorites:

Who doesn't want sprinkles?

Until next time...

  1. I think if you star at the three-dimensional cake on picture #2, you might see a Scotty Dog

  2. The first one looks like maeby ate a bunch of skittles and pooped out that cake. This is Josh Belcher by the way. You know I couldn't let it go without commenting on it.

  3. I was thinking the same thing, Josh, but it looks more Optimus-size than Maeby-size.

  6. There you go yet again with your judgmental posts. I can spot positives in all of these cakes. For example, the first cake, how do we know they didn't want rainbow dookie? Even if they didn't, it still looks pretty cool. I know I wish mine was rainbow now. Also I bet they all taste great.

Free tip of the day: try focus on the positive things in life instead of the negative. It would make people see you in a better, more appealing light. How would you feel if somebody criticized everything you did?

Also, "Mr McGoo" (if thats even your real name), please don't make fun of others. This isn't second grade.

  7. Mr. McGoo made a funny. I might like him, maybe not though.

How can a cake be wrong? I can think of no situation where I would hate a cake? It's the perfect food. No mater what a cake looks like it will get eaten. If by no one then by me. Let the record show that I love the unicorn poop cake. The more icing the better. If I were at your birthday party and that cake came out that middle piece would be mine and all mine. No sharing for Norm Hayess.

    Until next time...
